About
Welcome to my world of sculpted glass art, where nature and fantasy inspire vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces. I shape molten glass by hand using a high-temperature flame torch and borosilicate glass—the most durable art glass available. From my home studio in the woods of Rhode Island, I find inspiration in the natural world around me as I design, create, and run my business full-time since 2013. My work is sold online via Etsy and at art shows and Renaissance faires.
I specialize in color techniques and a deep understanding of how glass behaves, crafting feel-good pieces with designs you won’t find anywhere else as much as possible. Nothing is made from a mold, ensuring each piece is unique. My work often features the playful spirit of sea creatures, elegant florals, and whimsical fantasy elements. I aim to create work that brings delight and imagination while inspiring a deeper appreciation for nature and animals. |
While my emphasis is on craftsmanship, I take pride in being a reliable business owner who’s easy to work with and dedicated to ensuring every customer is pleased. Seeing someone light up when they ask, “How did you do that?!” is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Whether you’re exploring my shop online or meeting me at an event, I’m here to help you find the perfect piece to brighten your day and add a touch of magic to your life.

How it's made
|
Flameworking is a version of glassblowing that uses a torch to shape glass into art. The glass I use melts at 3000 degrees, which is hotter than lava!
|
I spin glass in the fire until it reaches a molten state. All colors are applied in the flame- my work is 100% glass and no paints are used. I love to make pieces that are tactilely satisfying and convey a feeling of wonder. I strive to produce as little waste as possible. Completed pieces anneal in a kiln at 1050 degrees to ensure durability and cool off gradually overnight. I love opening my kiln in the morning to see the results of last night's work. Check out these videos to see me making a piece!
